Prior to establishing his own IFA company, Alistair spent the previous ten years working at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management (formerly Tilney Private Wealth Management) advising high net worth individuals, with a particular focus on pre and post retirement planning. Alistair left his role as a director at Deutsche Bank in 2012 to set up Westcar Financial Planning. He subsequently joined the Financial Solutions team to operate his business from.

Alistair is a Chartered Financial Planner and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Alistair’s time outside work is spent predominantly with his 3 sons but he remains a keen sportsman, golfing and skiing when time allows.
